Here’s your Monday photo prompt for Picture Book Idea Month.
You’ll find another prompt on Facebook too.
On Wednesday, children’s writer and poet Catherine Johnson will share how some of her picture book ideas develop and picture books she’s recently read.
Here’s to ideas!
I love the one sock on, one sock off 🙂
Hope you’ll be able to squeeze in an entry for the Thanksgiving Contest!
Susanna, I’m behind, but hope to have one posted on Tuesday. Still working on it. The prompt really stuck me this time.
What a cute photo! And just one sock. Is he looking for the other sock?
Very cute! I’m coming back to read your Thanksgiving entry, you’ve got to do one it’s too funny 😛
AHHH! On tiptoes too!
cute and what book is he looking for?
Looking forward to Wednesday’s post, Stacey.
Super adorable photo!!
This is the most adorable picture. Curiosity about books! I love it. Especially the missing sock.

hehe, I love the single sock. Wow, that’s a good prompt because even I came up with a PB idea–gasp!
I have an idea! Woohoo. That makes 37. I am rockin’ and rollin’! Great pic, Stacy!
Have a beautiful Thanksgiving. *waving*
Hehehe! I love it! Especially the one missing sock. 🙂
CUTE! Pictures really can be inspirational. This is awesome. 🙂
So cute. I love the one sock and one sock off. A cutline immediately pops into my head when you post such great photos.
Glad everyone loved the missing sock. The bookshelf has been empty for several months now, because he would empty it every day and sit with the cookbooks.
I love the missing sock too, and it seems I’m not the only one! Then again I love baby’s feet in general.
Julie, it’s funny because now he can’t wear socks, because he slips and slids on the floor. We’ve had lots of tears over this, so I just remove them with the shoes now.
