Q is for quote
One of my favorite quotes.
A little rough maybe, but I think passion every time I see this quote.
Crockett, born in Tennessee, died at the Battle of the Alamo as he fought for Texas independence.
What’s your favorite quote?
Yee haw! What an awesome way to start the day. I have lots of favorite quotes, but one I refer to a lot is from Maya Angelou… you do what you know how to do, and when you know better, you do better.
I like that quote Angie.
I like “Whatever you are, be a good one” – Abraham Lincoln
Erik 🙂
Erik, Very true.
Well, you know me. I love quotes.
Hard to pick a favorite, so I’ll pick one in kind from John Wayne:
“Life is hard, but it’s harder if you’re stupid!”
Beth, Yes. John Wayne is correct on this point.
Love your quote! But oh, to pick just one to share? I’m not sure I can 🙂 I do really like Erik’s… And how about this one: “The world needs dreamers and the world needs doers, but most of all the world needs dreamers who do.” I think It’s Sarah B-something…
Love it-must send to my family in TX. I haven’t commented lately, but am loving your alphabet month, Stacy. Here’s my favorite, at least today: If you don’t like how things are, change it! You’re not a tree. ~Jim Rohn
Thanks for reading Linda. I’ve been a bit behind with comments, organization this month. It’s been a fun experience and a bit “challenging.”
ONE of my favorites is, “You don’t have to believe everything you think.” Not sure who said it though.
Julie, I like that one. I’m sure many thriller fiction writers are happy to hear that one.
I love that one! I also like “I’m a great believer in luck … I find the harder I work, the more I have of it.” Stephen Leacock.
Very true Nancy.
Don’t know who said it, but, “I celebrate life, and live joyously!”
A great attitude to have, even if some days the B in me stifles the joy.
I can’t think of a favorite right now, so I’m taking yours. 🙂
You’re naughty! My favorite quote is: This day will not come again – Thomas Merton
Just bought a mug from the Alamo that says that. looks almost like it, too. So many good quotes so little time!
